A new year has a way of sharpening focus. It invites us to pause and reflect on what we have learned, what our members need next, and where we can have the greatest impact. For Osara Health, the start of 2026 marks more than just a calendar turn, it represents a significant new chapter. We are expanding our global footprint into Canada.

This is more than a new geography for us. It is a commitment to making evidence-based cancer support more accessible to the people who need it, wherever they are. It is a promise to support the organizations who care for them with a program that is proven, scalable, and easy to implement.

Here is why we are coming to Canada, and why we are doing it now.

Why Canada, and Why Now?

Cancer can affect every part of everyday life. It touches work, caregiving, finances, mental health, and day-to-day routines. Even with excellent clinical care, many people still find themselves needing practical guidance and human support in the quiet, often confusing moments between medical appointments.

Canada is no different. More Canadians are being diagnosed with cancer year over year, with estimated diagnoses to reach 254,800 in 2025, up from 247,100 in 2024.  We have seen that individuals and families here are seeking tools to help them navigate the emotional and practical realities of cancer. At the same time, Canadian employers and insurers are looking for solutions that improve the member experience while supporting outcomes that truly matter, including wellbeing, engagement, and the ability to stay connected to work where possible.

Our expansion into Canada comes after what we have seen across other global markets. When you combine compassionate, specialized coaching with structured behaviour change and strong clinical governance, you can deliver support that is deeply meaningful for members and operationally workable for partners.

What Osara Brings to the Table

Osara Health’s program is built specifically for cancer. It is not a general wellness program that has been adapted to fit a serious illness. That distinction matters because cancer is complex, and the needs of a person in treatment or recovery are rarely “standard.”

As we enter the Canadian market, our commitment remains the same:

Personalized Cancer Coaching

We provide coaching delivered by trained professionals with deep oncology context. This isn’t just about general encouragement; it is about having a knowledgeable partner who understands the medical landscape and can help translate complex information into manageable steps.

Whole-Person Support

Cancer doesn’t just happen to a body; it happens to a person. Our approach spans physical, emotional, and practical challenges. Whether it is managing fatigue, navigating difficult conversations at work, or dealing with anxiety, our coaches are there to help members address the full spectrum of their experience.

Recognizing the Caregiver

We know that cancer affects the entire family unit. Caregivers often carry a heavy, invisible load, balancing their own lives with the demands of supporting a loved one. Our program includes dedicated support for caregivers, recognizing the critical role they play and ensuring they don’t burn out in the process.

Digital-First, Human-Centred

We designed our delivery model to be accessible and easy to engage with. We combine the convenience of digital tools with the empathy of human connection. This ensures that support is available when and where members need it most, without adding administrative hurdles to their already full plates.

A Commitment to Partnership

For our partners we aim to keep things simple. We know that implementing new health benefits can be complex, so we prioritize low-lift implementation, clear pathways for referrals, and a member experience that feels supportive from day one.

Our strong clinical governance and measurement protocols mean that partners can trust the quality of the care their members receive and track the impact of the program. We are here to be a true partner, working alongside Canadian organizations to build healthier, more resilient workforces.

Looking Ahead: Growth with Purpose

This year is about growth with purpose. We are expanding our footprint while staying anchored in what matters most: helping people feel more supported, more capable, and less alone through one of life’s hardest experiences.

As we look toward the rest of 2026, we are excited about the momentum we are building. We are in active discussions on several new partnerships that will broaden access to Osara’s services and bring cancer support to more people through the channels they already trust.

If you are an employer, insurer, advisor, or partner organization in Canada and you are exploring how to strengthen cancer support for your members, we would love to connect.

Let’s make this year the one where we close the gap in cancer care, together.
