The Opportunity:
We are hiring a Chief of Staff to the CEO. In this role, you will work primarily in business development and growth, supporting the company’s expansion into the United States and Canada. The role works closely with the CEO.
You will play a key execution role in managing Osara’s go-to-market and account based marketing strategy, supporting sales conversations, pricing and commercial modelling, and managing our sales processes.
What you will do:
- Execute the growth strategy for U.S. & Canada disability and life insurers, including market segmentation, target lists, positioning, and broker or consultant plays.
- Build the business case for carriers, build sensitivity scenarios, claim duration hypotheses, and ROI narratives suitable for C-suite briefings.
- Create and execute the account based marketing program and operating rhythm that links campaigns and events to qualified opportunities, and ties touchpoints to growth.
- Lead cross-functional execution with BD, Clinical, and Product to stand up pilots, integrations, and implementations, translating strategy into plans, dashboards, and weekly decisions.
- Shape our partner ecosystem in ways that complement Osara’s oncology specialisation, enhance value for customers, and avoid duplication with adjacent vendors or internal programs.
- Own executive communications for board-level or carrier-level narratives, including 1-page briefs, 5 slide executive packs, and quarterly operating reviews.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in management consulting, finance, investment banking, law or medicine
- Exposure to or a keen interest in GTM strategy & commercialisation is highly desirable
- High attention to detail
- Ability to rapidly diagnose ambiguous complex problems and deliver practical, high impact solutions
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, with confidence influencing and constructively challenging at all levels, including senior leaders
- Empathetic and ability to build high trust working relationships quickly
- Strong project management and organisational skills across multiple priorities
- High adaptability, low ego, and a strong bias to action
In this role you will:
- Execute the growth strategy for U.S. & Canada insurer market.
- Own and deliver growth strategies that accelerate customer adoption in the the US, then scale to ANZ where appropriate
- Stand up zero-to-one commercial and operational functions that matter for scale (ABM engine, revenue analytics, partner integrations)
- Lead market entry and expansion plays within insurers, with clear segmentation, target lists, and buyer narratives
- Partner with the CEO on strategy & finance discussions when needed (board updates, grants, capital planning)
- Run the rhythm of the Leadership Team
- Orchestrate the leadership operating cadence (weekly exec, monthly operating review, quarterly offsite) with decisions, owners, and deadlines
- Drive accountability around the company’s top priorities using clear metrics, OKRs, and simple scorecards
- Drive company-wide alignment and communication
- Own All Hands and company wide cadences that connect goals, progress, and learnings across BD, Clinical, Product, and Marketing
- Strengthen internal communications on pilots, go-lives, and case study results, ensuring fast feedback loops and continuous improvement
What success looks like
- Within 3 months
- Establish trust and tight working rhythms with the CEO and Management Team, align on a 12 month growth thesis
- Take ownership of leadership and company cadences, introduce a weekly dashboard that links touchpoints to growth
- Within 6 months
- Launch or scale at least one zero to one function or initiative, such as the ABM engine or broker enablement, and show a measurable lift
- Improve operational clarity and accountability across the executive team, reducing time to implementation
- Drive a strategic outcome with the CEO and management team, such as securing a national launch commitment or publishing a validated case study
- Within 12 months
- Be regarded as a key operator and trusted partner across the business, known for turning strategy into growth
- Consistently lead Osara’s most important initiatives from commercial growth to partner ecosystem development, and support corporate development related work when required
- Shape how the company scales, operates, and communicates at every level through playbooks, metrics, and governance that enable repeatable wins
