We’re excited to share some fantastic news, Osara Health is partnering with Medibank! Through this collaboration, we’ll be offering our award-winning Cancer Coach & Caregivers programs as part of Medibank’s suite of offerings to its corporate customers. This will be optional as a fee for service offered by employers to their employees via their Medibank corporate health partnership.
Why does this matter?
Cancer rates among working-age people are unfortunately on the rise (as noted by The Lancet last year), and too many employees and their families struggle to find the right support. Our Cancer Coach program offers personal health coaching and digital tools to help people with cancer navigate their treatment and well-being, and our Caregivers program supports those caring for a loved one with cancer. These are Australia’s only cancer support programs with published clinical evidence demonstrating improved quality of life, mental health, and physical health for participants. Thanks to this partnership, they’ll be accessible to thousands more Australians through their workplaces.
Our partnership with Medibank means Osara Health is now part of the health and wellbeing suite of services that are available to Medibank corporate customers for purchase. Together, we’re committed to improving the health and wellbeing of employees dealing with cancer, and easing the journey for their caregivers. This is a big step in ensuring no one has to face cancer alone, even while juggling work and treatment.
What’s next?
Medibank’s corporate customers will be able to purchase Osara Health’s Cancer Coach and Caregivers support to their employees as part of their health and wellbeing program*. We can’t wait to see the positive impact this will have on individuals’ lives – from better health and morale to hopefully smoother returns to work when the time is right.
